Job Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in cost estimation, budgeting, contract administration, and project financial control for large-scale infrastructure works such as roads, bridges, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.

Minimum Relevant Experience of 10 Years is MANDATORY - (Gulf Experience is Preferred)

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for civil infrastructure projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to project costs.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project costs against budgets and prepare cost reports.
- Manage and administer contracts including variations, claims, and payments.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure budgetary compliance.
- Track project progress and measure actual quantities against planned quantities.
- Prepare monthly valuation reports, interim payment applications, and final accounts.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and contractual requirements.
- Assist in value engineering and cost-saving initiatives.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying with a focus on civil infrastructure.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Project, and QS software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with local construction laws, standards, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in GCC infrastructure projects is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of ERP systems related to construction costing (optional).
