Job Summary
The Plumbing Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plumbing systems, water supply networks, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and related equipment. The role requires ensuring all plumbing works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain water supply, drainage, sewage, and sanitary systems.
Install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as toilets, wash basins, sinks, showers, faucets, and water heaters.
Read and interpret plumbing drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Detect and repair leaks, blockages, damaged pipes, valves, and fittings.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plumbing systems.
Test plumbing systems for leaks, pressure, and proper functionality.
Install and repair PVC, PPR, HDPE, copper, GI, and CPVC piping systems.
Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and report material requirements.
Coordinate with other maintenance teams during repair and installation activities.
Respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Technical or vocational certification in Plumbing is preferred.
Minimum 2–5 years of relevant plumbing experience in commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
Experience in GCC countries is an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and installation techniques.
Ability to read plumbing layouts and technical drawings.
Knowledge of plumbing materials, fittings, valves, pumps, and fixtures.
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with plumbing codes and safety regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.

Working Conditions
Work may involve indoor and outdoor environments.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined spaces or at heights when required.
Willingness to work overtime, shifts, or on-call for emergency maintenance.
Physical Requirements
Physically fit and capable of standing, bending, climbing, and lifting for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions.
