Job Responsibilities

Performs a variety of skilled, semi-skilled and routine work in pool maintenance requiring specialized knowledge and skills, including: installation, maintenance, modification and repair work in assigned area of pool equipment, building repair, minor plumbing and electrical repair.

Skills & Qualification Required:
• Diploma graduate or equivalent
• Two (2) years of recent paid experience in Pool Maintenance
• CPO (Certified Pool Operation).
• English Speaker
• Organisational & practical skills
• Report writing skills
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• To be able to swim

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Carrying out scheduled pool cleaning & vacuuming
• Maintains pool chemistry and circulation at proper levels.
• Perform water test, & maintain pH balance
• Cleaning out filtration units
• Responsible for pool heater maintenance, circulation and de-humidifier systems
• Fixing lights below water level
• Checking and repairing corrosion, cracks and leaks in the pool walls or floors
• Making sure equipment like pool lane lines are in good working order
• Orders supplies, conducts inventories, and maintains purchase records.
• Keeping stock records for cleaning supplies and spare parts
• Responding to water hygiene incidents
• Establishes and coordinates an annual preventative maintenance
• Reporting equipment faults or water quality problems to managers
• Perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, plumbing and electrical repair.
