United Steel Industrial Company (KWTSTEEL) was established in 1996 by Kuwaiti investors. In the four years that followed KWTSTEEL in collaboration with VOEST Alpine of Austria erected the first rolling mill in Kuwait. This rolling mill, which is built on a 40,000 meter squared lot, has an annual capacity of 650,000 metric tons of reinforcing steel bars with sizes ranging from 8mm to 40mm in diameter. Since 2003, Uniited Steel was able to cater major portions of local market demands for this vital product, while the manufacturing process is entirely capable of meeting recognized stringent international standards such as ASTM, DIN, BS, SASSO and other standards required by the market. The company’s production usually exceeds its yearly target, thus exporting products to neighboring countries which has constantly been part of its business. In 2007, KWTSTEEL signed a contract with the Italian contractor DANIELI & C, to erect the new Steel Making Plant. The Melt Shop occupies a space of 96,000 square meters at Shuaiba Industrial Area and is designed to produce about 1,000,000 metric tons of billets. The plant is designed according to the latest technology in the field of steel plant machinery equipment specifically. The technological solution is characterized by the choice of high quality and productivity facilities, by which it is possible to achieve extremely efficient operating results with low man-power and specific energy consumption; thereby, making the plant highly competitive. The technical specifications of the equipment are based on DANIELI’s sound experience in the design and realization of steel works and in particular of the most-up-to-date compact production units. 2) CRANE OPERATOR (WAREHOUSE)-JRE12162

Education & Experience: SSC with 8 years’ experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry

3) CRANE OPERATORS-JRE12156

Education & Experience: SSC qualification with 8 yrs. exp. steel manufacturing industry (EOT Cranes)

4) RAW MATERIAL OFFICER (SCRAP OFFICER)-JRE12168

Education & Experience: Diploma with 8 years’ Experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry

5) PURCHASE OFFICER-JRE12182

Education & Experience: Graduates / Diploma in Material Management with 8 years’ Experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry

6) PURCHASE OFFICER (SPECIALIZED IN SAP)-JRE12184

Education & Experience: Graduates / Diploma in Material Management with 8 years’ Experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry

7) MATERIAL & STORE SUPERVISOR-JRE12176

Education & Experience: Candidates should have Diploma material management with 8 yrs. exp. in steel manufacturing industry

8) STORE KEEPER-JRE12185

Education & Experience: Candidate should have Graduate & material management diploma with 8 yrs. exp. in Steel manufacturing industry.

9) BILLET CHARGING & EJECTING OPERATORS-JRE12190

Candidate should have HSC with 8yrsexp. in Rolling Mill Plant division of Steel Manufacturing Industry

10) ASST. COLD SHEAR & BUNDING OPERATORS-JRE12188

Candidate should have HSE with 6 yrs. Rolling Mill Plant exp. in steel manufacturing industry.

11) ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN – SHEAR-JRE12160

ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 8 years’ experience in Steel Manufacturing Industry

12) HEAVY VEHICLE OPERATORS-JRE12170

Candidates should have SSC with 8 yrs. exp. in steel manufacturing industry as a heavy equipment operators

13) INSTRUMENT CALIBRATOR-JRE12193

Candidate should have Diploma Instrumentation Engg. or ITI Instrumentation with 8yrs.calibration exp. in Rolling Mill Plant equipments of Steel Manufacturing Industry.

14) UTILITY SPECIALIST-JRE12208

Candidate should have Degree / Diploma with 10 yrs. exp. of Steel Rolling Mill Plant utility exp.

15) SHORT BAR REMOVER-JRE12198

Candidate should have 8 yrs. exp. in Rolling Mill Plant of Steel Manufacturing Industry
